Agreed. She easily could have just been there to be the black girl, but someone wrote her up as this full, amazing character having a whole life.

Ugh, re-reading that sentence makes me so sad about where I automatically and cynically place "the black girl" in American pop culture.

I miss the Clueless TV show; and also Daria.
